Day 1

itin day 1We will pick you up at the Frankfurt airport and escort you to your hotel in Mannheim (incl.). Depending on your arrival time we may do a stroll through the city in the afternoon. Did you know that the first car ever was invented here? As well as the bicycle? Enjoy local cuisine as a welcome dinner in a local brewery in the evening (incl.).

Day 2

itin day 2 shortWe introduce you to your motorhome and have a short drive to our campsite at the Rhine river, just opposite the world-famous Lorelei rock. According to the legend a siren is sitting on the cliff and distracts sailors with her beauty and singing, causing them to crash on the rocks. In the evening we'll have our offical welcome dinner (incl.).

Day 3

itin day 30Our Rhine cruise offers splendid views of the many famous castles and vineyards, and the lovely scenery. On our way back we will explore one of the castles and enjoy magnificient views of the Rhine valley deep below us. We also visit one of the historic villages along the river (Rhine cruise incl.).

Day 4

itin day 4 shortWe move on and explore the valley of the Moselle, famous for its terraced vineyards since Roman times. We will visit the medieval Eltz castle, its oldest parts dating back to the 9th century. The current owners call it a "fairy tale in stone" and we agree (guided tour incl.).

Day 5

itin day 5 shortFollowing the twists and turns of the Moselle, we arrive at our next destination, a truly enchanting little village with a waterfall in its centre, lots of small bridges and charming half-timbered facades. Time for a stroll and coffee & cake.

Day 6

itin day 6 shortVisit one of the oldest cities in Germany. Founded by the Celts it later became one of the capitals of the Roman empire. So expect a history-packed excursion including the Porta Nigra, one of the best-preserved Roman city gates, the Imperial Baths from the 4th century and a Roman Amphitheatre (guided tour of the city incl.)

Day 7

itin day 7 shortThrough the beautiful Palatinate region we make our way to the German Wine Route, famous for its traditional wine villages. Of course we will visit a wine festival, celebrate with locals and stay overnight at a winery. It's grape time.

Day 8

itin day 3We cross the Rhine river and have a stunning scenic drive along the "Black Forest High Road", famous for picturesque views and Brothers Grimm type villages. And cuckoo clocks, of course. We spend the night in a typical, charming Black Forest village.
